At London and County Surveyors we have been closely monitoring the situation regarding Coronavirus, as well as following advice from the UK Government and World Health Organisation to ensure the safety of our clients, home occupiers and our surveyors.
Following the recent announcement from the UK Government, we are now taking new instructions for residential surveys but we will be following certain procedures to help ensure the safety of our surveyors and those who we come into contact with. For the time being, we are taking the following precautions: -
Where possible, we would ask that the survey property should be left vacant so that our surveyors do not come into contact with others.
Where it is not possible for the survey property to be left vacant, our surveyors will practice social distancing measures and will try to maintain 2.0m distance at all times. We would also ask homeowners and occupiers to cooperate with this.
Our surveyors will use appropriate PPE, including face masks and protective gloves. They will also carry hand sanitiser gel which will be used both before and after the survey.
